I can't play D2 on it though, although that's the only game I've installed and tried so far. If I can get Starcraft, and more importantly Adobe, to work it'll be cool. Other than that, it plays movies very nicely, has a decent internal LAN system, and I've dumped all of my papers, music, pictures, and videos onto it already with relative ease.

well since northwestern decided it wants to stay "just friends," my options are down to psu and u of colorado.

both have decent programs (for mech eng) and both are financially feasible. PSU has better academics (plus a bigger alumni network) and is a fair amount cheaper. Colorado has stuff to do besides getting totally wasted every weekend. i'm not even sure where I'm trying to go
